if yr not going to bother buying music from the individual artists that
compose the "soundtrack" then at least download the fuckers from
napster. At least then nobody is actually *profitting* from the sale of
something they have no right to distribute... him saying that "All CD's
are either out of print or extremely hard (or impossible) to get" means
nothing. the songs themselves are in print and that's all that matters.

on that note.... WIN Records is having a massive sale on their
website... you can get BOTH Petra Haden albums for $12. The first
one is called Imaginaryland and is just Petra (a capella (but
multitracked and with each voice acting as an instrument) and with
violin and mandolin spicing things up a bit.). It's not for everyone, but
if that type of thing sounds interesting then i'd highly recommend it.
Her second album was a partnership with a gal by the name of Alicia
Rose (who goes by the name Miss Murgatroid) who is another one of
those unique talents... she plays accordion (but unlike any accordion
you've ever heard...) and sings... The two together are a pretty
irresistable combo.
