It just goes to show us that every "love story" movie out there doesn't end happily. It fits with our single, jaded points of view (or at least mine anyway). I don't know about the rest of you, but I am usually able to take single life in stride, but VD (hehe love the connotation there!) makes it a little more difficult. 'Amy' reminds me that not everyone, or every movie, exists in that saccarine sweet movie-world that depresses the likes of me every Feb 14th. So, if you're alone tonight, watch 'Amy' & feel cynically justified!
