Anybody that has seen this film knows how much of a quality film it is. It is a real shame that it didn't get any more nominations that it did. When Soderbergh gets 2 director nods for 2 different movies, you know it's a wierd year for the Oscars. Nominations would have been nice for Best Picture, and Directing. It's obvious from watching the movie how much it meant to Cameron Crowe. But that's okay. It's just an awards show.
Almost Famous is still, and will always be a great film. We as movie fans will always have that.
