The comment about staff at comic-book stores was a personal joke. I've been in and around comic-book stores for over ten years now and it was merely a joke about me and my friends... but obviously nobody else would know that so I apologise for that one!!!
And all you want to know is if you can get English DVDs - see you are still moaning about the availability of products!!! View Askew have no say whatsoever in the release of their films. And often international releases are missing the extras of their US counterparts because the international distributor is not willing to pay to secure the rights to the supplemental material - which are often created by the US companies. Hopefully one day the films will get released in this country but it's pointless asking on this board because nobody here can make it happen (if it helps News Askew did run a story a while back saying that Artificial Eye would be releasing Clerks on DVD this year).
Again it was not a personal attack on you but merely a general moan aimed at those who think the world owes them some great debt (or at least some VA merch!!!). And I try being polite as much as possible... but I'm sorry if my years on this board have made me lose my patience for the mundane. You shouldn't get too upset though because believe me when I say that if my initial response is the worse thing that is said to you during your time here then you are a lucky man!!!
