: I'm actually getting sick of Brits bitching and moaning on this board. Yes we get films later than the States but they are American films and it shouldn't really come as any great surprise because it's the way it's always been.
It's all too true, and sad as it is, it's unlikely to change. I managed to see a preview for Episode One a week before it came out (and I was walking around like the cat who got the cream for ages!). It had already been out in the US for weeks, and if there was ever a film that had a huge UK audience champing at the bit, that was it. However, we still had to wait for it, so I can't see it being different for a (dare I say) slightly lower-key release like JASBSB.
Get your friends into the cinema to see JASBSB, tell them to get THEIR friends to see it, and if momentum gathers enough, the responsible parties in the US might figure out there'd be some money to be made by releasing all the DVDs (Region 2 if you must) over here. Lawks - they might even do a Limited Edition run of all the available Special Editions as a promo thing.
