So I'm walking down Houston (I think) in Alphabet City the other night and
what do I pass but Meow Mixx? It got me wondering whether that scene from
Chasing Amy was actually shot in there or if you guys just used the facade
cause it was such a cool name for the bar you wanted in the script.
I really wanted to go in, but the prospect of wandering into a lesbian bar
in the middle of the night and looking around like a drunken gape-mouthed
tourist wasn't really very appealing to me.
So--should I grab a lesbian to take me in there like a pilgrimmage or what?
