Wow.
When I used to watch FBDO when I was younger I thought it was cool and all but it was only when I rewatched as I was older that I realised that the entire film is about Cameron. I felt so stupid for not realising. Nearly every conversation is about him and most of the stuff Ferris gets him to do is to cheer him up whatever. Plus it is the quintessential Hughes theme to nearly all his teen movies - All your problems and neurosis are completely the sole fault of your parents!
