...and magnificent glow?
No. Really. Could I have permission to close my eyes, and dream of a magical, wonderful Nevertime where I am as Special and Justified as you are? I know it's rash and foolish to ask such a thing, but a boy has to dream, doesn't he?
Could you teach me the ins and outs of cool? Show me the metaphorical ropes, as it were; tell me what's the buzz, and inform me what's a happenin'. I think I can honestly say that I love and honor and respect and fear and WANT and covet and desire you. The you-ness of you; that specifically NON-PATHETIC, AWESOME, charter-member on the Cool Brigade, wonderful, loveable, amazing you.
Although, I can't say as that I envy you. I mean, it must be hard, being so OldSkool-keWL, and surrounded by inequity and squalor, and, even worse, "NEWBIES" (*shudder*)who have the unmitigated gall to have ONLY just discovered the 'Skewniverse. What do these fucks think? That they could just watch a movie, and LIKE it? Then find out about OTHER movies, and like them?
Fucking creeps. It's like that Fairy Tale with the goose who bakes the bread. Did THEY cut the wheat? Did THEY mill the grain?
No. But they want a slice of the Bread of Coolness, don't they? Boils the blood and gives an intemperate rage to the spirit, no?
Well, they (we) all can't be you.
When the revolution comes, they will be found wanting, and will not be spared.
The revolution will not be televised; if it was, there would be a bunch of "pathetic losers" who try to act like they are OldSkool-kewl Revolutionaries.
I wish you well in your quest for other Ubermensch fans; people who are not PATHETIC LOSERS, so that your greatness will have the validation and the kinship it so richly deserves.
You, sir, rock. Rock on, Rock Man. Rock on, indeed.
You sad fuck.

: ...I don't see many people saying "Yeah, I saw Clerks when it came out, and I've been a fan of Kevin's ever since". For the most part, I see people saying "I saw Dogma for the first time last week, and I went out and rented the rest of Mr. Smith's films. He is awesome!! Then I found out about this site, so when is Clerks 2 coming out?"
: I feel like a pathetic loser when I'm around people who have only known about the greatness of The Kevin for only a few months, or weeks. Personally, I saw Clerks when it came out (In Washington, D.C.) and have been a fan ever since. I still remember sitting in my sixth grade math class, telling the kids about "This kickass black and white movie about clerks who hate their customers and spit in their face, and have ex-girlfriends who fuck dead guys!", ahh, the memories.
: Anyway, in an attempt to try and find anyone who's been a fan as long as I have:
: What was the first Kevin Smith movie you saw?
: When did you see it?
: The people in red can answer if they want.
