Yeah I'l give ya that a mojority of the newer "toys" are more statues than toys, but that is all in the design. I Kevin said "make a toy damn it" they'd do it. So what if there is a lot of hype. Honestly look at the crap they were putting out before McFarlane. The quality and detail far surpasses everyone else out there, believe it or not MOST people use them as statues so that's how they were designed. Make it clear we want real toys and we'll get them (and they'll look good too).
And I feel your pain on the Ash Figure, what a dissapointment! My point is you know that is Bruce Campbell, the detail is awesome, it's the articulation that sucks not the quality. Jays shirt design is a frikkin sticker and the joints are loose.
Really though MF is the only company to do it.
They'll also be a hell of a lot cheaper than the grafitti ones too.
