Please excuse my ignorance as I have been out of comics for a couple years now (poor college student that can barely buy food. no money to keep up with what I would want to.), but are you talking about the Event Comics Ash? Cause my brother wanted one of those "toys" for Christmas, but when I was a (Q-Palmi) Ash fan, there was a toy, and its pretty cool. I think it may have even been by Graphiti, but I don't remember.

: : They've done a damn fine job on other movie figures.

: Ash sucked. I waited 15 years for an Ash figure, and this is the shit they come up with. He has a whopping 5 (yes 5!) points of articulation, and a pose that offers no playability, just one lame pose. I don't care that it's a dead-on likeness, and I don't care that it comes with a sweet chainsaw and his infamous BOOMSTICK (Which he can't hold). I wanted an Ash figure that could beat up the shitty McFarlane statues that I have been getting for Christmas every year since the original line came out a few years ago, but all I have is an Ash figure that looks cool, but does nothing. If I had the choice of Jay & Silent Bob figures that I could play with, but looked nothing like Smith and Mewes, or super detailed STATUES, I'd take the ones I could play with, the ones that could beat up my little sister's Ken doll while hitting on Barbie at the same time.
