Okay, I'm in MN and it's Eden Prarie Mall, the local mall that has next to nothing inside it. There are about three shops left there, but most of it is boarded up. It's definatly not the Mall of America, which is in Bloomington, and just a little ways northeast of Eden Prarie, but now the only people that really go there are... well, loyal Askwites (especially ones like me in the Frozen North) that trip around to movie sites. And, unlike LaFours, the security seems to have grown accustomed to people running around saying "That KID is on the ESCALATOR again!!!"
It's actually quite sad. And you're right, the dirt mall is nowhere in MN, but I bet if you drive up north long enough you'd find one.
