Dawn and the Warrior Nun Inspiration?

I read the summaries and in reading "What was the inspiration for Dogma?" I read that comic books was part of the inspiration. I was wondering if Kevin had ever seen/read Sirius' Dawn and/or Antarctic Press' Warrior Nun Areala and if either was part of that inspiration in some small way?

Some of the images in the Dawn comics are resemblant of Dogma's look and feel.
