: Yes, Yes, I agree with you. Fifty-six times and counting with Chasing Amy -- and I don't even have a DVD player yet. When I do, it's gonna take a crane to get me off of the couch and away from the TV. However, it's often difficult to realize that not everyone on the face of the planet shares the same (don't yell at me) obsession that we do with Tons o' Fun. Case in point....
: Someone at work who saw Dogma this summer came up and asked me what I thought of it. I said I liked Amy better. He said "Oh? What's that like?"
: Big mistake. I proceeded to launch into an explanation about how the first ten minutes were worth the price of rental, jsut for Hooper's monologue and gave the ENTIRE MONOLOGUE FOR THE NEXT EIGHT AND A HALF MINUTES, right up to "What about you? You didn't tell me you were gonna scream 'Black Rage', I nearly pissed myself."
: He was actually stunned speechless. I mean, literally. He just stood beside my desk, jaw hanging on the floor, eyes glazed for about forty-five seconds. Then he just gave me a VERY frightened look (kind of like the one Haley Joel Osment wore through most of The Sixth Sense), BACKED out of my office and said, "Well, guess I don't have to rent it now, do I? I'll just come in here on one of days off and you can act it out for me."
: Proving yet again, a little knowledge (and a lot of spare time) in the wrong hands can be a dangerous thing.
