There are many problems in the USA you are correct, but there are contries with no laws against hitting or even killing women if you are the man in "charge of them" do some reserch you will be shocked! (However, I never tried to imply that the USA is perfect or all other cultures should be wiped out. just pointing out something that is more horrible that calling someone "gay")

I think you meant the islamic nations of the world though. In some of those nations women enjoy huge amounts of freedom, earning wages almost equal to a mans. In some they have less freedom.
