Hey Kevin...I am a huge Jaws fan and have been regularly traumatized by shark films since I was very young. I happened to be watching said movie not too long ago and noticed that the scene in which the guys are on the boat and comparing scars and other permanent physical problems is reminicent of the same style scene in Chasing Amy where Joey and Jason compare sex scars. Was this a shout out to a great scene, a fondness for the movie, a fun idea or am I off base here? I tend to think that I am not off base on this idea since even that section of the bar that they were sitting in kinda sorta resembled the inside of the boat in Jaws (in an abstract way) what with the windows and the table the way they were. So tell me...was this the idea or what? I have wondered for a long time!
