In my experience the board has always filled fast - mostly with off-topic posts. If we are now allowed to post off-topic that is a good thing because at least the board won't fill up with people pointing out that you were off-topic and arguing the point - and instead will be filled with topics of debate (hopefully).
As long as people aren't assholes about it and just start flaming people they disagree with and we can get along as a community (*ahem*... never gonna happen!!!) everything should work out fine!!!
