Nothing against the person who posted this, but this seems like a reporter stretching to make news out of nothing.
There are a lot of things that can be considered giggling and smooching. Most of them completely tame and sexless. Lots of people who are no more than friends sit with curled up together just because it's nice to be cozy and friendly.
From what I understand, and based on her writing, Carrie Fisher is a sharp witty woman who would be interesting to spend an evening with. It might have just been an evening of great conversation and fun. And if it's anything more than that (although I doubt it) what of it. Just because Carrie is (to use the pc term) "of a certain age" doesn't mean she's dead or unappealing. :)
So, if I'm wrong and there was more than conversation going on, I respect Ben for seeing the appeal in a woman who's not a cookie cutout and has a lot going on upstairs.
