My personal opinion, which means nothing...
I saw the Enquirer and the pics mentioned...seems to me Mr. Affleck might be the lovable touchy-feely person Kevin says he is and those pictures were just friendly gestures to someone he digged. And then someone went hog wild over it, I suppose they'll be eloping to Uruguay any minute now.
