I was under the impression that someone other than Kevin paid for the OWB...in fact..I'm almost certain.
Has that changed? I know the UBB contract was paid for a year by *insert name I still can't remember here*...and it has since expired...perhaps the dues is due?

I've only been around since shortly after Dogma (didn't know about the boards before). I continue to read the posts by the guys in red, but most of the other posts are either uninteresting to me, or they're off-topic and don't really belong here in the first place. I lurk over at the OWB more than I post there as well, but I enjoy the conversation. A lot of the people who hang out there have a number of things in common, including Kevin. Its a cool place to have random conversation with some interesting folks. That doesn't mean it justifies the expense of maintaining it. I suspect this might have something to do with the slowness of the OWB lately and some serious maintenance that might need to be done. I can't say whether the cost justifies the benefits its provides to the fans who choice to use it. Regardless, Kevin is certainly not obligated to foot the bill, and has the right to cut it if he chooses. I suspect that if its folded into the main board the ease of conversation, the inanity, the personal, and the random would somewhat disappear. I would miss it.
