I don't know as many big words as Johanna does - but she makes a very good case for both boards remaining active.
I started out posting on this board and quickly got tired of wading through the "Read the summaries" and "you're off topic" posts. I still check in here every few days (apparently not often enough) and occasionally post when the subject strikes me (as this did) but I am on the Other Board most every day and post quite frequently. I've made some really great new friends over there (which proves they are not exlusionary). To eliminate the Other Board will be eliminating a strong community of fans who do not feel the need to kiss Kevin's ass on a regular basis. We're here, he knows we support him and that's that.
Kevin - if you're interested in more opinions, we have a thread about this issue on the Other Board (which is where I learned about the whole thing).
Just my .02 cents.
