Hopefully this is a fairly novel question. If it's not, then I apologize for wasting your time.

Anyway, I was thinking today that luck tends to play a pretty big role in any success story (being in the right place at the right time, bumping into the right people, etc.), and I was wondering what you thought was the luckiest thing that happened to you over the course of your career as a filmmaker.

Perhaps you're one of those cats that doesn't believe in shit-luck, but almost certainly along the way something had to happen that just seemed incredibly lucky that might stick out in your mind. Then again, perhaps not.
