: And that's what it's all about: your convenience.

It's not about convenience. It's about keeping a board that has meant alot to a large group of your fans.

:People can talk about the flicks or not. It'd become what it once was in our glorious past - an open forum.

At the expense of a community you created...and are now choosing to kill.

: : They're smart, well-expressed, and often very funny. With few exceptions, they're respectful of one another and supportive of each other's efforts. It's become a community all its own, irrespective of it's VA association.

: But it's a community I own, mind you. And I will burn down that village to save it.

You never really answered why? Why kill the Other Board? Why not just make this board your "utopian free for all"? Why not just change the rules here...I don't understand the need to kill the other to benefit this one? The Other Board has become a seperate entity...yes...and that obviously irks you...but do you really need to destroy it to achieve your goal over here?

: The One True Board is coming, folks. Fighting it is akin to bringing coals to Newcastle. Embrace the coming One True Board or... or...

: Or go someplace else.

Hey...this is your place...I respect that..and I'll respect whatever decision you make...but at least consider the possibility that your goals...and the goals of the otherboarders that wish to keep their home...can be met.

Terri,
Who didn't use big words.
