No prob. We diasagree. I was just responding to your post since I went back to look at what I wrote about the movie over at film-411, and realized that I didn't really explain why I didn't like it besides saying that it was pretentious crap. That was the purpose of my post.

That pissed me off afterwards, but not really during. I sat back, wanting to see an amazing film. I didn't think I did, then afterwards, I got pissed at his attitude. But even if that was the case, Aronofsky came up and introduced the film, thereby setting a tone that he wanted set. Why would that be wrong to take into consideration?
:Well, I think P.T. Anderson comes across like an utter and complete ass in interviews, but I still love BOOGIE NIGHTS and SIDNEY (HARD EIGHT).
So do I. He is an ass, and that Fincher thing was retarded. But BOOGIE NIGHTS is one of my favourite films (and I like both SIDNEY and MAGNOLIA).
:You can't let the filmmaker's "proud" attitude influence your opinion of their work. If that's the case, you should absolutely NOT be reviewing movies ANYWHERE.
Come on. I wrote a little thing on the internet for fun. It's just my opinion, which you said I was entitled to. Nothing more, nothing less.
