: but uh, of course Chasing amy is all about gay people (good movie) but at the usual thankuy(what is this supposed to be?) messages from Kev Smith it says some guy named Scott is the Cherry of pie or something like that.

: And i know Kev has a kid and i remember in mallrats him thanking his wife for the mad booty.

: someone clarify this prime example of idiocracy in the first example for me.

It's not idiocracy. Kevin Smith is confident in his sexuality (he has a wife and a kid, either he's straight or has the worst case of denial known to mankind), and has no problem doing stuff that may seem a little fruity to people like...well, like you.

Can't they just come out with the best edition first. I know people want to watch the movie on dvd right away but gimme a freakin break!

Here's what happens: They make a DVD of, let's say, The Care Bears movie. They make it just a standard DVD because Care Bears haven't been around for a while and they don't want to throw a lot of money at this if they don't know for sure if they'll get the money they spend back, plus extra. It's a huge seller, so they come out with a special edition DVD of the Care Bears movie because now they know they will get the money they spend back plus extra. Or they'll decide to release two versions: One will sell for standard DVD price, the other will be a little extra because you're getting a little extra. Some people can't afford the SE because they buy DVDs using saved up allowance money, but they can afford the standard edition. The moral of my babbling? Don't run out and buy a DVD of a movie the day it comes out, wait and see if they plan to release a SE version.

: also, can someone gimme some tips on college essays, ive been trying to right one for like 3 weeks now. Cant think of anything to right about. (please dont tell me to right about a viewaskew movie, I turned an essay in to my english teacher this year about dogma and how it kinda made me look at religion as a bigger joke than before and got an F. I think my teacher is jewish, too)

Tip #1: Learn to spell. If you hit spell check on this last paragraph, the Spell Check program would bring up the words: Gimme, dont, kinda, ive, cant, and viewaskew. It wouldn't bring up: right, or in to(write, into).

Tip #2: Don't write about religion, EVER. Unless it's assigned.

Tip #3: I know why you got an F. If you say in a paper "I think religion is a big joke, and this movie I watched made me think it was an even bigger joke" that's not going to impress a teacher. If you insist on writing about religion, either say you watched a movie that changed your view on religion, or say "I watched a film on religion and how, because of Dogmatic Law, there was a loophole which would allow two fallen angels to get back into Heaven, thus negating all existance(sp?)" or "...two fallen angels to prove God to be fallable, thus negating all existance(sp?)" Don't be honest all the time, honesty doesn't impress teachers, telling them what they want to hear does, I know, I'm an expert. I wrote a three page paper in fifteen minutes for my history class that was total B.S. and got a 100(A+ if you go by a different grading system)
