Alright, I'm new here, hence, I don't know how many questions I'm thinking of asking has been asked... don't blast me... please... I beg of you. All of you were once new. I'm just a little ole' Canadian, what do we know?
Anyways, I was listening at the wonderful, amazing, breathtaking viewaskew.com, Kevin Smith/Chris Rock interview on Stern the day Dogma was released. Near the end a fan calls in and says "what advice do you give to anyone who wants to be a filmmaker like you?" (or something along those lines) Kevin responded, "read a lot of comic books." The fan said "Why?" Kevin said "because..." and was cut off.
So if you know WHY film makers should read a lot of comic books, fill me in.
Or, since I know Kevin visits the message board, if he's reading this: Make a young Canadian's day, fill him in on why film makers should read comic books.
