Smalls, I would also call the child Brian Quinn, but I must say I am surprised that you didn't refuse to name the child unless the man also had a baby girl so he could name it after your girlfriend. After all, naming a baby is a big, big reponsibility, and if you're gonna make the effort you really have to include her.
Hey, for what it's worth, the lead character in NIGHTCRAWLERS is named Quinn (after Brian Quinn, of course) and his last name is Riley, if you want to reference a movie that isn't even made yet.
