I think it's a hell of an idea, despite the risk of someone ripping your stuff off. On the other hand they do require that you have it registered with WGA and The U.S. Copywright Office. That's not perfect, but at least people can't make money off your stuff. My entry is called "How Meg Ryan Ruined My Life" and my nicname there is "Eli".

: I was just wondering what you guys thought of Matt and Ben's new Project Greenlight. I know I entered and I am sure a million other of the VA board junkies will be doing the same so what do you guys think. I like the idea of them paying for a movie for some new writer director, but I have to admit it is a little scary to put your stuff out there for any Tom Dick or Hairy to Read. Hey I believe in my work and I hope we will be allowed to read the reviews others are putting up about our stuff. I think it will help even those of us who are gonna lose. I have no visions of winnng the thing simply because I doubt the stuff I write will work for a main stream audience, but I still hope I can get a hold to the constructive critisism of others. It helps alot to get input from others. If any of you decide to be reviewers or Contestants I am the writer of A Tangled Web and my Nickname is the same there as it is here. So I guess my Question is what do you guys think of the idea?
