I saw a different version of Reindeer Games than was released in theators. That is the Ben Affleck action hero movie in case you are wondering. Anyway, the one I saw had a different opening credits, a different chase scene entirely(the hotel one, he goes out instead of in), and a longer (and funnier) dart room scene with Gary. The dart room scene had Ben bargaining to get away if he won in darts, but damn that hypothermia. It also had random changed lines which were usually funnier. I don't like to question a director, especially one like John Frankenheimer, but some of that stuff should have stayed in the US cut. Plus if you watch the preview, you see stuff that isn't in either one. For example, Ben Affleck is jumping from a cliff to another one, but that isn't in the movie anywhere. Oh well, sucks that it wasn't on the DVD, but what can I do?

What are everyone's favorite movie? Preferably a non-Kevin movie, but that doesn't change some choices (mine).
My favorite for now is Gladiator. I just love that movie. But it does have some flaws. Maximus doesn't fight a rhino, which was in the original script. Now that would have been cool.
Now, a movie with no flaws that many haven't seen is Seven Samurai. I bought that this summer and that is an incredible movie. I now understand why many say it is the best movie ever made. Personally I agree, but I haven't seen all of the competition (Citizen Kane). Just a really good movie it be.

That is my random talk for the day. Oh another movie I loved was Pitch Black. Can't wait to buy it.

matt - seemlessly moving from on topic to off topic

PS - I'm gunna buy them tomorrow no matter what, but how are Hard Boiled and the Killer? I've never seen them, but I love John Woo and these are supposed to be the best he made in Hong Kong (or somewhere over there).
