Say, you might just want to try doing it all digitally on computer in a digital audio workstation program like Cakewalk Pro Audio, Cubase VST, or E-Magic Logic. You can sync each of these programs to SMPTE code, word-clock, or whatever you are using. And you can compose, record, and edit MIDI, record and edit audio, and mixdown with TONS of effects all in the same place. And you will avoid any time drifts or sync problems between your gear. Look into it.
