Sounds like an awful lot of transfers. Each generation will be slightly less perfect than the one before. You could lose a lot of quality.

: Any thoughts on recording sync sound on DAT, tranferring to fullcoat for editing, transferring to a multi-track digital recorder, either for reference for for the actual mix, then creating and mixing an effects and music track on the digital multi-track recorder? Someone mentioned that the sync might drift over the course of a feature. Any thoughts, warnings, etc.?
