Smith didn't write MALLRATS in a vacuum; the whole state is lousy with 'em. There's a mall, like, 15 minutes from the Stash, with all the CDs, DVDs, & whatnot that a pop-culture-starved european could want.
And right across the street is a hip'n'trendy shop called FUNK & STANDARD that has a big variety of only-in-america stuff. Including Incredible Hulk Metal Wastepaper baskets, which you can be sure I scarfed up on when I was there.
