The Clerks figure assortment will be Dante, Randal, Jay and Silent Bob, dressed in their clothes from "Clerks" with appropriate accessories. Just about every object you saw the 4 principle characters holding in "Clerks" will come with the figures, you know, salsa shark, hockey sticks, porn, etc. They'll also have the aforementioned backdrops. Dante and Randal will have the interiors of the stores, Jay and Bob, the exteriors. They'll be painted in black and white (I'm hoping for color versions, too. I'd buy both). Here's the kicker: nobody has mentioned the fact that the designs (which News Askew has somewhere on their site) are done by Jim Mahfood, artist for "Clerks (The Comic Book)" and "Clerks (Holiday Special)". As for the Dogma figures, ToyFare did indeed mention it, so you're not wrong, but Kevin posted on the board a while back that there would be no full-blown Dogma action figure line, but "something similar." I imagine he was referring to a smiling Messiah that a few of us have sitting on our dashboards. As for the Mallrats figures, I wouldn't rule it out, but he has a harder time getting the Mallrats rights than any of his other stuff.

: Any chance you or anyone else knows a link of some "Toy-Fair-Like" sculpts or images of any kind??????

: Not as of yet. He's wanting them to remain secret until close to release, so that people aren't waiting for them for almost six months like with the Jay and Bob figures.

: Apparently, there will be figures of Dante and Randal, as well as new versions of Jay and Bob as they appeared in Clerks. They're also supposed to come with cardboard backdrops that can be assembled to resemble the stores. Dogma figures may be forthcoming as well.

: At least, this is what I heard from Toyfare a few months back. Let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best. Or at least hope for a Brodie figure sometime this century.
