I believe this means that it will adjust the picture for the size of your monitor or TV depending on the settings that you give it. For example: when you watch it with standard the picture will be clear widescreen with lots of empty space (if you have a standard TV) if you change the settings it will get rid of the empty space and stretch the picture almost un noticibly. That is the animorphic part of it.
