Although I thought the "Flinstone's List" gag in Clerks TAS was pretty funny, I could see why a network, especially ABC, would want that part cut. In response to this, Kevin stated that "The world isn't ready to laugh at the Holocaust yet." Now I'm not a Jew or a Holocaust survivor (like Magneto), but I didn't understand that statement. What is there in the Holocaust to laugh about? See, I took it that the "Flinstone's List" gag was laughing at Speilberg, not the Holocaust. Perhaps I'm taking the statement out of context, but the intensity of the Holocaust (sorta like the subject of rape) is just something you don't want to crack jokes about. Sure, the worls isn't ready to laugh at the Holocaust now, but I don't believe it should ever have to be.
