anyone know of an ad campaign for Clerks (the movie) that included Clerks brand products. My brother and his girlfriend brought me back a glossy leaflet from a HMV store in Japan that was for Clerks. On one side it had scenes from the movie, with writing that my brother has translated for me, and on the front it has a pile of Clerks products with action figures of Jay and silent Bob.
The action figures are the size of G.I. Joes, so they aren't the ones you can buy. There are multiples of each character in the shot. Some are holding real-sized cigarettes (weird). But the most interesting stuff is the products. There's Clerks brand minature chocolate bars (looking like snickers), Clerks cigarettes, Clerks shaving cream, etc.
Am I missing something? Is the answer obvious? I haven't heard/seen this before so I was wondering if someone could clue me in to where this originated from.
