I was at A Different Light Bookstore in San Francisco and noticed in the women's erotica section, a Chasing Amy tape.

I guess this means that despite all the trash the lesbian community talked about the film, when it was all said and done they accepted it into their insular cultural grotto. Chasing Amy is now officially lesbian cinema.

I think you deserve a big gay friendly award for being able to say "I am a catholic" and "lesbians rule" all at the same time. can we make you pope? I'd vote.

During the SF Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, a gay ale german director was proclaimed a "lesbian film maker" because the short he created was so sensitive to and expressive of the lesbian aesthetic. Male film makers straight and gay have gotten a handle on our carpet licking sisters of the north.
