I took Kevin's little rant to mean that he, himself, didn't want to be involved in any sort of protest, and also was tired of seeing billions of "ABC Sucks" posts taking over the board, but that he didn't actually care one way or another what we said to ABC on our own. Our ranting to ABC/Disney wasn't going to make a difference to him, since the show is really not coming back. But at least if we let them know that they screwed up a potentially good thing, they may just think twice about doing it again. But if no one complains they'll think that they made the right decision, and keep doing shit like that.
But even if Kevin did mean that he didn't want US to say anything to ABC, that doesn't mean that you have to OBEY him. It's your life, do what you want. On the board you can let Kevin make the rules, but OUT THERE you have to be responsible for making your OWN decisions. I know it sucks. But Kevin can't be there for you ALL the time. He's a busy guy, ya know?
But, all kidding aside, ABC fucked with us viewers, too. Kevin has at least already seen all the episodes. AND he got paid. We weren't so lucky. (Though I did just get a raise today at work, whoo hoo. But ABC had nothing to do with that.) So if we want to tell ABC that they're annoying their customers, then I'm sure Kevin would be understanding, as long as we don't do it on his board.
