In the off chance you (referring to Kevin Smith, not that I don't appreciate anyone else reading this, simply it was meant for him) are actually reading this, I would like to start off by apologizing ahead of time if any of the following questions seem repettative and/or cliche. Plus, for the sake of kissing some ass, allow me to tell you I am a great fan of your work. Now, on to the questions!
As a fan I would like to ask you where you get your inspiration for such wonderful examples of cinema (boy, I guess I wasn't done kissing ass after all). I was incredibly pleased with Dogma, and was not the only person to think it was the most original thing to come spewing out of the genitalia that is Hollywood. But the question is slowly eating my mind away...where do you come up with this incredible stuff?
As an aspiring director and/or writer I was wondering if you had any tips to help my films or stories become something more than crap.
Well, enough questions. If you've read this far i'm honored and would like to offer you one piece of advice: Keep up the fine work. I am looking forward to your next film and shall try to be the first in line to see it. Farewell.
