So Sayeth the shepard... So Sayeth the Flock!!!
I'd been floating around the pages of this website for the past couple of days and thought I'd better get out and check out the latest from Kev. So I tried to find Mallrats and Dogma, I only found Dogma. I own and love Clerks, and then saw Chasing Amy, as I'm in love with Joey Adams(Sorry Kev, I feel awkward sayin that knowin you dated her, and that in itself is kinda wierd). So anyways, I love to digress...
There wasn't a thing I DIDn't like about DOGMA. I've always been unreligeous and really hate the thought of somebody pushin their beliefs on me. Ideas are the real treasure on this world and Roofus hit the nail on the head when he said that. I identified with alot of the characters in the film, and thoroughly enjoyed everyone's performance. Oddly enough I have to single out Alan Rickman, for his nice guy role. I've always hated all his other condesending parts. He plays such assholes! The Voice is great role and I think he shined in it.
One question I have for Kevin would be: What happened to Bartleby towards the end? He goes from the relaxed guy to a maniac. In essence Matt and The Afflicted change roles... It threw me a bit, and I found it a bit hard to swallow. Mainly because it seemed such a drastic change. Like I know the dude "snapped", but... Care to talk about that? Maybe put the details of the scene on the website? I'm interested to know how that came about.
I will always say I'm a fan! I plan to buy Dogma for my collection. I also want the movies on DVD, but can't decide what DVD player to buy(Any suggestions?).
Thanks Kev, and all who make your movies possible.
P.S. Sorry I missed Clerks The Cartoon. I only ever saw 1 ad for it, and didn't catch the date.
Why don't you TAKE THE SHOW TO FOX for their Sunday night lineup? I'd love to see it INSTEAD of that shit Mike Judge is pushin. DisneyLand is no place for Jay and Silent Bob.
