yes, he went to vancouver film school with scott mosier (producer of clerks, mallrats..etc.), but dropped out before he finished to make clerks. search the newsaskew archives for stories about kevins university appearances..he often talks about this. from memory, he tells aspiring film makers toi just go out and do it...make a film for as much money as you can get your hands on.
personally, i went to the New Zealand Broadcasting School, and i also didn't finish, but i stayed until i learned enough to get by on. fcae it, they're not going to teach you useless information.
