I believe they used an Arri SR2.
If you're gonna get into Super-8, you should make friends with somebody who has a good video-editing set-up and you should use film from Super8Sound in LA. They sell Vision stock in super-8, processing included. But since it's negative film you've gotta edit on video.
I'm curious, what kind of camera did you buy?
(I happen to be a Super-8 enthusiast. Can you tell?)
