I don't remember which day this was, but:
Phil got REALLY smashed at the bar, but he was helf-sick all day and the booze just made it worse, so he left the Marriott and walked over to the Red Roof to crash. He had a room key, but he couldn't remember the room number, and in his drunken stupor he circled the entire ground floor twice looking for the room. He said the next day the only thing he remembered was that sign. He had noticed it earlier and used it as a landmark to find his room.
I tell ya, it's gonna be REAL depressing to walk the streets of Red Bank without my GOOMBA.
