I am writing for information regarding what advice you would have for a struggling small-town Canadian writer (film/television/poetry) who wishes to obtain any help in the "Where's Waldo?" of producers. So far I have sent inquiry letters to production houses/agents/publishers in Canada and the U.S. over the last four years. Finding literature on various markets and the who's who in film is very difficult where I am situated. I have used various Writer's Market guides as well as The Canadian Writer's Market and Guild. I am interested in new ways of trying to find that starting point in the industry and would greatly appreciate any information you could pass my way. Thank you.
