Hi Kevin!

We called your office this afternoon, but in the likely chance you don't return unsolicated calls, I thought to try posting our question on your message board...

My producing partner Balinda DeSantis and I are putting our first feature film together. It's a dark comedy called "Shooting Blanks".

I've attached a project summary telling you the logistics of the project, (i.e. budget, director, cast attachments, etc.) so I won't go into that here, but being our first film, we have no idea how to go out and find the funding to support our $3.5M budget.

We've got a great cast assembled to date, with more on the way. They are all friends-or-friends of friends, so luckily they are working for scale +10. Our cast includes:

-Seymour Cassel
-Adam Goldberg
-Daniel Hugh Kelly
-Michael Rapaport
and,
-Jennifer Tilly

Other interested players include Samuel L. Jackson and Breckin Meyer, but we have yet to secure their letter of intent.

Can you refer us to a production company we can partner with or perhaps recommend a place to go to find financial support for a project like this. I assure you, the script is terrific, hence the attachments, but being first-timers, the money thing could pose a problem.
