I registered just so I could post this....it's funny. In my film class today we were going over editing. The teacher brought in an article regarding the Casablanca...the machine we use in class and it was about puting in a silent scene in order to cover up background noise. He recommended naming the scenes for example if you have somebody with a "wet hacking cough" make it a scene and call it......say Jay or something (for practicle reasons I assume) then make a silent scene and give it a name...say... Bob. It's easier if you name them. Then it actually says at the end of the paragraph..."using the silent Bob sample to accomplish the same goal is much easier" Just thought you'd be interested to know you were referenced.
