I actually enjoy seeing the VA regulars skewer the unoriginal bastards that spew their bile all over the board.
Although people rib Smalls about being a board cop, I have never thought ill of his actions (well, as much as tearing people new crapchutes on-line can be action) and I agree with Smalls' idea that it's more about maintaining a community that most of us enjoy.
The only thing, other than calling out "OFF TOPIC!" whenever something is just that, that people could do is just ignore it posts all together. But I would see nothing wrong with others picking up on the idea of making the work load a little lighter for General Smalls. It would be nice to have Smalls, with a Wal-Mart-sized View Askew flag in the background, give us a verbal ass-kicking to motivate the troops, though.
