is the script completed?

This reminds me of the ending Kev cut from Clerks where Dante got assasinated ( it was a conspiracy damnit ). It was soooo unlike the rest of the film. But me.. well.. I laugh in the face of danger, at a safe distance of course, so you should keep the stuff in it. But don't come cryin if I'm wrong.

The dude - assasinated by ming

: I've written a script for the Austin Film festival about the life of a schitzophrenic and the whole film is written on a serious plane. I have added random whimsical dialouge and though amusing, it alters the angle of the story. At this point the idea will be read, not seen as a whole. Is it better to continue with this and change the view of the story or submit a script containing very descriptive scenes with less dialouge? I appreciate the help.
