But lemme tell you. Here's what I first thought upon the May 31st Airdate...

Most shows will by out by that season...There's another thing wrong with TV. Don't premiere till late Sept./Oct. and air 20 new episodes from now till May...I remember it usta be easy to get to 100 episodes. Now you need 5 fucking seasons to make what a newscrew does in 3 1/2 months.

Anyhoo, off the digression, being that most shows are gone, what is the chance that they're looking at CLERKS as the "summer sleeper hit of the season"? Remeber that happened two years ago with WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? I mean, the logic with why that was a hit was, "What the FUCK is there to watch?" and people were looking for comedy, and that's what they've found.

I think personally (no offense intended) that if the show gets marketed well (and obviously they like if they'll give it *2* spots during their most lucrative advertising night of the year-$2 Mil. for 15 seconds...c'mon!) people WILL watch. You have a built in Audience. CLERKS itself has a bigger built in audience (I can't tell you how many people alone have seen MY Clerks tape...it's like the town tape slut, that and 'RATS), so I feel that you shouldn't fret, but see what marketing does. (although with the commcerical we've already seen...eh...)

So let's just keep our fingers crossed for ABC to do what we pray that they'll do. Market the thing well.
