Hey,

I just got back into town, checked out newaskew and saw that Clerks:TC was premireing on my birthday. It seems now I have my very own special birthday present from ABC and Kev.

thank you. very much.

please God, let it not fail...

Though I don't think it will. Maybe airing it in the summer is the perfect time. No other stuff competing for rating. Look at Movie Stars. Wait, maybe not. At least it's not in August which is certain death. Look at Maximum Bob...okay, maybe not. I still have Jeff Bridges nightmares. I have faith. I'll pray double time for it's success.

9:30? That's half way thru Dawson, damit! In my devotion I will have to forgo Jen Linley T and A... :*( (that was a joke, I do own a VCR and thus will miss no T and A)

I am blue though to see the closing of the Askewniverse. (I can't believe I have to spell that wrong. I've been away too long) But I supose that's the way life is.

*le sigh* I'm just fucking greatful I got the chance to see the films and to be a fan-girl. oh well, right? so be it.

'watched the clerks commentary for the first time today (I don't have a DVD player or a laser disk...though strangely i do have a bata-max player and a SVHS...damn i guess i'm no stranger to being bitten by changing trends). Really great stuff. Scott looks really good without the facial hair...I don't know why I said that. I'll never tire of the film. ever.

Props must go to Ben for a great SNL appearance. That first Mango/Tallented "Mr. Affleck" skit was the greatest, especially having just seen 'Ripley on Wenesday. And btw, why did the paddle/Jude Law scene in the film have to be so...graphic? Great art director. Some of those shots looked more like paintings. My favorite was of Damon and the nun on the stairs. Breathtaking beauty in classic sepia style. I still love the song "My Funny Valentine", though I must say that I've never had a valentine that was particularly funny...hmmm.

I'm achually surprised the death match isn't against Kev and that other director (you know which one, I dare not speak his name, but still think my donkey could have cut that film better).

I suppose that's all for now. Upon further reflection I might find more to say. :)

hope you had a good president's day and black history month

(who now thinks Kevin Spacey's a bit sexy...but still a great actor)
