I never said to believe it. The recent release of Indy in widescreen with the pretense that it would never be released on DVD until the fourth movie was filmed really makes me take everything they say with a grain of salt.

I, too, have 3 versions of Star Wars. Like I said, I buy anything that comes my way, and I'm the type of person they count on to buy their products.

I agree with you completely about the absurdity of that notion. There's over 1 million employees at LFL. You'd think they'd have the decency to just say "we blew all our money on Jar Jar toys, leave some cash in the donation box out front, please."

I'm still buying both copies of Dogma.

: : Rapid fire scripting/shooting process going on right now. There's a full blown explanation at starwars.com about it.
: : On a similar note, Indiana Jones is coming on DVD soon, too.

: : I'll buy whatever comes my way, obviously.

: I'm sorry; let me get this straight: So now, all of a sudden, the good people at LucasLand have moral qualms about releasing multiple versions of the same movie on the same format? Excuse me for a second, my three copies of the "Star Wars" video (original release, THX remastered release, and Special Edition release) are blocking my view of the screen.

: And the notion that every single Lucas employee is SO BUSY working on Episode II that they're just plain unable to make a transfer of the flick is just stupid. I'm sure Lucas wants to make a super-duper edition of the DVD a few years down the road, but hell, man - the people just want a bare-bones edition to keep them happy for a few years. Get one of your low-level flunkies to do it, George. You can then fully devote yourself to writing another lackluster prequel. Don't forget to write some more fart jokes! Kids love those.

: Chris
